To understand what is manifesting as a digestive issue, we not only need to look at what’s happening inside your body, we need to look at your life as a whole rather than get to laser focused on a specific gut symptom.

The real truth: Every gut issue has a unique root cause specific to you, the individual. There are as many reasons for a  symptom as there are people.

Since the digestive system is truly the foundation of health we address chronic digestive issues as well as symptoms such as headaches, low energy, inability to lose weight, and chronic inflammation which can all stem from gut imbalances.

Helpful Tools for your Journey

Juanita offers high-quality nutritional supplements, always with a very minimalist approach. She may also recommend other holistic modalities like GIMAP or other lab assessments, castor oil packs, at home coffee enemas, yoga or chi gong classes, meditation or relevant books on self compassion and holistic healing. She is mindful of the limits of her scope of practice and always recommends seeking a medical provider or functional medicine doctor for more complex gut health issues where a diagnosis and treatment is appropriate and necessary.

Restorative Colonics

Juanita may recommend colonics for certain individuals when appropriate and helpful.

Juanita uses an exclusive method of colon hydrotherapy that she has developed from her 30+ years experience in the field. They go beyond the typical water irrigation of the colon. Restorative colonics are about relaxing, breathing, and letting go; bringing awareness into the body and being present with the release process. Breathwork is key to these sessions – long, slow deep breathing that relaxes the nervous system, shifting and resolving patterns of stress held in the tissues while the colon gently releases waste and toxic material from your body.
